Located in the hills on Skaneateles Lake in upstate New York, this 'Modern Adirondack' lodge pairs sleek materials such as floating glass walls and steel tiles with natural materials including Australian Cypress floors, crocodile leather and beautiful, local marbles and stones. The vision was to bring the beauty of the surrounding lake region inside the home, while maintaining the client's modern taste of clean lines and the tradition of “Casual Luxury”. This project was an exciting challenge as we had the ability to revamp the existing structure. We removed obstructive walls and small rooms, replacing them with wide open floor plans, custom bars and a unique guest room constructed entirely of frosted glass walls. Custom colored Italian tiles with black river rocks as a floor and ceiling created a true work of art in the master bathroom.
