An interior facelift. We started with the focal point of the main living area: the fireplace. We covered the antiquated brick of the fireplace with brilliant stainless steel which displayed an almost 3D effect. We took the existing bookcase and cut it down fifty percent. The new bookcase was refinished in a sharp teal blue with black rub. In the kitchen, the custom-designed range hood was created from antique cooper which was given a fire treatment to reveal a deep blue tint. The inspiration for the curvature and details in the range hood came from the plow of a snow truck. The kitchen walls are now fitted with matchstick thin glass tiles and hand pressed teal papyrus wallpaper.
